Cajun Burder

Tailgating with Judi
Spice it up and cheer on your favorite team with a zesty Cajun truly burger

Ingredients

1 pound andouille sausage, casing removed
1-pound ground turkey
1 small green onion diced
1 red pepper diced
2 TBSP. scallions diced
4 TBSP. fresh minced garlic
1-teaspoon hot sauce
1-teaspoon garlic powder
Kosher salt and fresh ground pepper to taste
1 egg
¼ cup seasoned Italian breadcrumbs

Garnish:
Sour dough bread
Butter
Yellow tomatoes
Boston lettuce leaves
red onion chipotle mayo
Sliced peeled cucumber
spicy sprouts

Directions

  1. Dice sausage or grind in food processor. Mix with ground turkey and all other ingredients until well blended. Grill on a griddle pan or preheated gas grill over medium heat for about 7 minutes per side. Serve on a buttered and toasted sour dough roll or sour dough bread- top with radish sprout, lettuce, yellow tomato, chipotle mayonnaise and sliced cucumber
