Chamber Enhances Website Service – EnglewoodJobSearch.com
(Englewood, FL) The Englewood Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the improvement of its employee recruitment and job posting website. The enhancement provides the ability for anyone, whose employment has been impacted by CORVID-19, to register with the Chamber and to receive direct notifications of employment opportunities as well as announcements of relief benefits available. “The Chamber is often notified by businesses that are looking for employees. We are also staying informed of relief assistance available to those affected by CORVID-19,” states Ed Hill (Chamber Executive Director). Hill continued, “By having a list of those in need, we can quickly provide resource opportunities directly to those registered.”
Any individual is permitted to register on the website. Registration involves entering basic information online such as name, phone number, email address and county of residence. Registrants are also asked if they would submit to a background check if a job opportunity requires one. (www.EnglewoodJobSearch.com)

The website, launched in 2018, has been a Chamber resource to help member businesses recruit employees and fill job openings.
The Englewood Chamber has adjusted its operations to follow the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommendations that any events or gatherings of 10 or more people be cancelled through May 1st.
