Seared Scallops with Basil Lemon Noodles

Ingredients

12 large scallops
1 Tbsp lemon juice
1 Tbsp sesame oil
2 tsp brown sugar
2 tsp lemon zest
2 tsp. chili garlic sauce
3 Tbsp. Fresh chopped basil
Kosher Salt and fresh ground pepper

Directions

  1. Cook rice noodles according to package. Whisk together lemon juice, oil, brown sugar, lemon zest, and chili garlic sauce. Stir mixture into noodles; add basil and salt and pepper. Pat scallops dry with a paper towel. Sear scallops on both sides until they form a nice crust. Serve scallops on top of the noodles.
  2. Garnish with chopped basil
