Zabaglione can be served hot or cold and will compliment almost any meal. Pour atop a combination of fresh raspberries, blueberries and blackberries, served in a
martini glass for a simple presentation.
Ingredients
8 egg yolks
¾ cup granulated sugar
1 cup Marsala wine
Directions
- Mix ingredients together in the top part of a double boiler and constantly whisk over rapidly boiling water. Mixture should thicken and double its volume.
- Remove from the heat and continue whisking for another minute or so. If serving warm, use an Irish coffee glass for presentation.
Chill about one hour if pouring over fresh berries.
